The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) 2025-26

The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) is dedicated to addressing and resolving complaints lodged by students. Students can submit their grievances related to any academic or non-academic matter within the campus through the online portal or the grievance/suggestion box. The institution is committed to resolving these grievances within a stipulated time frame.

Objective:

The Grievance Redressal Cell aims to resolve grievances of students and other stakeholders promptly, thereby strengthening their connection with the institution. By addressing concerns and providing necessary facilities, the Cell ensures a conducive environment for academic teaching and learning.

As per the UGC (Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2018, the composition of the Grievance Redressal Committee is structured accordingly.

Mechanism of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC):

  1. The GRC will address individual grievances specific to students and staff.
  2. Grievances of a general or collective nature, raised by more than one employee or student, will not be considered by the GRC.
  3. Upon receiving a complaint or application, the committee will assess its merit to determine the need for further discussion or investigation and will act promptly.
  4. If necessary, the GRC may mediate between the complainant and the defendant.
  5. The GRC aims to resolve grievances within a reasonable timeframe.
  6. The GRC will report the cases attended to the appropriate authority and seek guidance from higher authorities if needed.
