OBC cell 2025 – 2026
To ensure compliance with reservation orders for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and to promptly address the grievances of OBC employees, this OBC Cell has been established.
Objective:
- Implement, Monitor, and Evaluate: Continuously oversee the reservation policy within the University, ensuring effective implementation of Government of India and UGC policies and programs.
- Educate, Enlighten, and Empower: Support OBC students and staff by informing them of available facilities provided by the government and other agencies to advance their educational and occupational careers.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data on admissions and appointments to both teaching and non-teaching positions within the university. Analyze this data to track trends and progress towards fulfilling the required quotas.
The college has constituted the OBC committee for the benefit and upliftment of the OBC and minority communities for the student and staff. The members of the committee will exclusively look into the matters pertaining to OBC and minorities communities. The members of the committee are as follows:
