Physics<\/strong>
Physics is a natural science based on experiments, measurements and mathematical analysis with the purpose of finding quantitative physical laws for everything from the nano world of the micro cosmos to the planets, solar systems and galaxies that occupy the macro cosmos.The laws of nature can be used to predict the behavior of the world and all kinds of machinery. Many of the everyday technological inventions that we now take for granted resulted from discoveries in physics. The basic laws in physics are universal, but physics in our time is such a vast field that many sub-fields are almost regarded as separate sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chemistry<\/strong>
The Department of Chemistry at Christ University aims at developing young talent for the chemical industry and builds in them other strengths such that they are able to venture into allied fields too. The aim of the department through the courses it offers is to provide \u201ca cut above the rest\u201d man-power to the ever growing demands of the industry and to prepare students for higher studies and research. The interactive method of teaching at Christ University is to bring about attitudinal changes to future professionals of the industry.Equal importance is given to practical and theoretical methods of learning. Industrial projects are integral part of the curriculum. Apart from the syllabus, the University emphasizes on Value Addition Programs like Current Affairs, Holistic Education, Certificate Courses and Placement Training Programs, which include training students in group discussions, facing interviews and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mathematics<\/strong>
Mathematics reveals hidden patterns that help us understand the world around us. Now much more than arithmetic and geometry, mathematics today is a diverse discipline that deals with data, measurements, and observations from science; with inference, deduction, and proof; and with mathematical models of natural phenomena, of human behavior, and of social systems. As a practical matter, mathematics is a science of pattern and order. Its domain is not molecules or cells, but numbers, chance, form, algorithms, and change. As a science of abstract objects, mathematics relies on logic rather than on observation as its standard of truth, yet employs observation, simulation, and even experimentation as means of discovering truth.The special role of mathematics in education is a consequence of its universal applicability. The results of mathematics-theorems and theories-are both significant and useful; the best results are also elegant and deep. Through its theorems, mathematics offers science both a foundation of truth and a standard of certainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility<\/strong>
Candidate seeking admission to the first year of B.sc. course must have passed 10+2 examination in Science(Math).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Number of Seats<\/strong>
The intake capacity of B.sc course is 30 seats. In addition to the above seats, five seats are available for foreign\/NRI candidates subjected to approval of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
